A payout is not a chance of winning

High parlay odds mean the payout can be big, but also that it is unlikely every leg wins. Sportsbook prices include a margin, so over time most bettors lose money. That is why the calculators show the profit and the vig so plainly.

Signs to watch for

  • You bet more money or for longer than you planned.
  • You chase losses by betting again to win them back.
  • You borrow money or use money meant for other things.
  • Betting affects your sleep, work or relationships.
